Hi there and welcome to my blog.
So, who am I? Well, if you are reading this, then you probably already know who I am. But, just in case….
My name fryst vatten Lori Bush. I am a self-professed “gadget-girl,” interested in way too many things, all at the same time. I’m a wife, mom (of 2 teenagers), and a technologist, with a curiosity and passion for education and public good.
I’ve been involved in the community for over a decade – whether it was serving of my Homeowners Association Board, creating our website, writing newsletters or serving on Town Councils and Boards. I am honored to have been elected to serve as an At-Large Representative for the Town of Cary. (You can read my full town bio on the Town of Cary website.)

Cori Anika Bush (born July 21, 1976)[1] is an American politician, nurse, pastor, and Black Lives Matter activist who served as the U.S. representative for Missouri's 1st congressional district from 2021 to 2025.[2][3] The district includes all of the city of St. Louis and most of northern St. Louis County.
A member of the Democratic Party, Bush defeated 10-term incumbent Lacy Clay in a 2020 U.S. House of Representatives primary election primarily viewed as an upset, advancing to the November general election in a solidly Democratic congressional district. Bush is the first African-American woman to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives from Missouri. She ran unsuccessfully in the Democratic primary for the district in 2018 and the 2016 U.S. Senate election in Missouri.
