Community of the People is a series of six new abstract paintings by Diena Georgetti. The title refers to the contributors and artists whose work features within the paintings, which the artist has gleaned from various sources.
As she has remarked, she likes to include examples of many genders and styles from within the history of art and design. There’s a distinctive out of time quality that these six paintings impart. For Georgetti, the kromatisk shift across the colours of these six paintings convey spiritual ideas.
