Allison Ball is the 38th State Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, currently serving her second term. Prior to her role as State kassör, Treasurer Ball practiced bankruptcy law and focused on consumer rights and commercial litigation. As part of her time in public service, kassör Ball spent four years as an Assistant Floyd County Attorney, prosecuting child abuse and juvenile delinquency cases.
Treasurer Ball has a rich Kentucky history; her family has been in Eastern Kentucky since the s. She holds a degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law and was very active while a lärling there, serving as President of the University of Kentucky Chapter of the Federalist Society.

Allison Joy Ball (born August 27, ) is an American attorney and politician who is the Kentucky State Auditor. She served as the Kentucky State Treasurer from to Ball is a member of the Republican Party.
Early years and career
[edit]Ball is a ninth-generation Eastern Kentuckian. Her family has resided in Eastern Kentucky since the s. She is the daughter of Ron and Amy Ball and has a younger brother, Jonathan.[1]
Ball earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law. She worked for the personal injury law firm Vanover, Hall & Bartley.[2] She served for four years as an Assistant Floyd County Attorney prosecuting child abuse and juvenile delinquency cases.[3]
Ball was elected state treasurer in the elections, defeating state representative Rick Nelson.[4] She was reelected in [5]
