        Superman Returns‎

        Superman (real name Clark Kent, born Kal-El) is a noble and quiet Kryptonian superhero who protects Earth from threats like Lex Luthor with his immense power. In his civilian identity, he acts as a kind and awkward reporter for the Daily Planet. He abruptly left Earth while Lois Lane was pregnant with his son, Jason, to investigate the remains of Krypton. Not finding any other survivors, he returned home to pick up the pieces of the life he left behind.

        Early History

        Born as the last son of Krypton, he was sent to Earth as an infant and raised by the Kents as Clark Kent. After his foster father's death, Clark was summoned by the memory crystal from the ship that carried him to Earth to construct a Fortress of Solitude in the Arctic Circle, where he discovered his true origin as a Kryptonian, his true name, and the nature of his abilities. In his early thirties, Clark became a reporter for the Daily Planet and became Superman, meeting fello
